Not sure why but on my Electrolux dryer (eied55hiw0), the limiter (137032600) is being replaced for the 3rd time (the dryer works fine for 3 months or so, then the heat goes out and the limiter needs replacing). Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!
Hi Robert,
Thank you for your inquiry. If the air flow is restricted in your dryer this is the most common cause for the limiter or fuse to go out. Check the lint screen and the exhaust vent for build-up and check the hose for kinks or clogs as well. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Dryer has no heat, replaced the ignition and limiter but can’t seem to find the thermal limiter, are they two separate parts?

Hello Zachary, Thank you for the question. The Thermal Limiter Part #: PS419402 is located on the back panel of the dryer, behind the drum. Hope this helps!
My dryer runs but blows cold air not hot. I have changed out the ignition coil, Flame sensor, control thermistor, and ignitor. It is still blowing cold air and i am trying to figure out why. I would love some help.

I'm getting code e65 on dryer model fase7021nw3
For model number Fase7021nw3
Hello Miranda, Thank you for the question. The error code E65 indicates a high limit thermostat has Been tripped. If the appliance is not over heating, make sure it has good air flow. Clean out the cabinet and lint duct. Make sure the Vent hose is clear and no kinks or bends and replace the thermostat. We hope this helps.
Is this the correct part for error 65 on Electrolux dryer
For model number ewmed70jiw
Hi Josephine,
Thank you for your question. When the E65 error code is displayed, it means that the high limit thermostat in the dryer has tripped and shut the dryer off because the dryer has a restricted air flow. The tube that vents the air outside is clogged with lint and it needs to be cleaned. If your ventilation has a lot of bends it, make sure these areas are thoroughly cleaned. You may need to contact a professional to clean your vents. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
My dryer won't start, makes the noise when I turn the button but it won't start.
For model number GLER341AS2
Hello Maria, Thank you for the question. If the appliance is still powering on but will not start, we suggest testing the Door Switch. It can be tested with a multimeter to see if it has continuity, replace it if it does not show continuity. We hope this helps!
My dryer does not fully dry the clothes on any particular cycle. Also, there is always a puddle of water in the bottom of the drum. Is the heating element gone or what could be causing this? Thanks
For model number EFME617STT0
Hello Curtis, thank you for asking. Based on our research, the water in the bottom of the drum is due to the poor ventilation system or clogged air vent. You may need to clean the vent. If the heating issue still exists, you may need to replace the high-limit thermostat, part number PS446428. If that does not help, we would recommend replacing the heating element, part number PS2367792. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!

Easy repair
Great customer service! However the part I ordered didn't fix dryer. That was my fault since I didn't test the old part first. Was able to get thermal limiter locally and dryer is working great. Again...NOT partselects fault. Didn't return because I figured I preempted that part failing later...lol. would definitely order from them again

Dead dryer
Dryer would not dry my clothes. All local repair companies were booked up for weeks. One place suggested look for a limiter that might be blown. Ordered it from parts select. Bingo it worked, saved me $700.00 plus to get a new dryer. I am one happy camper. Thanks
