All the videos on how to install this cable explain that you need to remove the two screws that attach the dishwasher to under the counter and then pull the dishwasher out to get to the cable. What NONE of them mentioned was that on my GE dishwasher, inside on the frame, there are two stainless steel caps covering two more screws that hold the dishwasher into the cabinets on either side. I thought the dishwasher was just heavy or perhaps stuck to the floor and pulled hard on the dishwasher and ended up cracking the sides of the cabinets where those two side screws were. So my advice is to look for those stainless steel caps on the front inside the dishwasher, remove them and take out the additional screws.

Worked as advertised. The site automatically puts 2 in your cart because there are 2 cables, one on each side. But only one probably broke. I guess it's a good idea to replace both.
