This mounting bracket is used to mount microwaves to the wall when installing the unit over a range. This metal, genuine OEM mounting bracket is approximately 31 inches long x 2 inches wide. If you notice that your wall mounted microwave is pulling away from the wall, take it down immediately and check the mounting bracket and the screws used to fasten the bracket to the wall. If you notice any damage to the wall mounting bracket, look to replace it right away to avoid further damage to your wall, or to the microwave. The hardware to perform the installation for this part is sold separately.
