How can i test this thermostat? Do i have to test it at temperature to see continuity?
For model number PVM1790SR1SS
Hi Keith,
Thank you for your question. You would test this part with a multi meter. You would have to remove it from your appliance and test it at room temperature. This part should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My unit is getting power because when I open the door the light goes on. Yet, I get nothing on the panel. I have plugged and unplugged several times to no avail. Am I chasing the correct part for a dead panel?
For model number CSA1201RSS01
Hi Constantine,
Thank you for your question. If the if the display is not working the part number for it is PS3493452. The issue could be the smart board as well and the part number for it is PS3491502. Another part to check would be the line fuse, part number PS239525. You will need to test the parts with a multimeter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hi Daniel, Thank you for your question. The stock status for parts is always listed below the Add to Cart button on our site underneath the part information that you will see above the question and answer section. If you are not sure what a stock status means, you can click on it and a separate window will appear with the explanation for what that status means. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
