The lower washer arm does not rotate/spin during the wash/rinse cycles.
For model number KUDE60FXWH0
Hello Viv, Thank you for your inquiry. Check for any clogs or debris by seeing if the spray arm will turn freely manually. If it doesn't, remove the arm, the screen filter, cover, screw and retaining-cleaning out any debris along the way. Next, check the sump for any clogs or debris. You can test the diverter motor with a multimeter to see if it has continuity, and if not, then replace it. Hope this helps!

Cycle stops with oversudsing error even when only running water. All research points to diverter motor. During cycle, diverter motor tries to run and clicks. Diverter plate doesn't seem to change position and is in between two openings. Thoughts?

Hello Ryan, thank you for your question. Yes, based on your description it sounds like the diverter motor should be replaced. I hope this helps.

I have replaced the thermostat and tested the heat element (15 ohms). The dishwasher does not heat the water in the wash cycle but seems to heat in the final rinse cycle and dry cycle
For model number KUDE48FXSS4
Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. I suggest running the tap at the sink until the water runs hot before starting the dishwasher cycle. The water that enters your dishwasher must be at the minimum 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Hope this helps!

Water leaking underneath dishwasher
The leak was dripping from the diverter motor. After removing dishwasher the diverter motor was found to be corroded. The shaft grommet looked good. A new diverter motor was installed and dishwasher connected. After running it awhile the leak reappeared. It seemed the only possible thing left was the shaft grommet. Of course the grommet comes as part of the belly assembly. After searching for a better and cheaper solution I ordered a Whirlpool WPW10195677 grommet and it solved the leak.
