Very easy task, undo two screw on top of microwave, pull old vent grill slightly forward and slide to left. After old vent was remove had easy access to charcoal filter, which I also replaced. Position and align new vent grille and slide slightly to right and it snaps in place. Use the two screws previously removed to secure new vent grill in place.

Replace Vent Grille Assembly
Old one broke. Looked into the internet. Found PartsSelect.com. Called the 800 number. Lady helped to make sure I bought the entire assembly assembled. Order that day, received in about 4/5 days. installed. Threw away old one. Very happy with the service and the ease of ordering/installation.

Grille assembly vent was cracked and would not stay in place nor would vent operate
By selecting the entire grille assembly vs buying just the individual parts it made the replacement simple. Just had to remove 2 screws from the old assembly to remove. Springs and brackets on the grill assembly were broken, and when the oven went on the grill door opened and wouldnt close when the oven went off.
I removed the two screws that held the grill assembly in place,, pulled out the entire assembly, and replaced it with the new one. Parts were shipped as promised and I was able to track the order. Price was reasonable.

The vent door is hanging on one side. When I turn the microwave on, the vent flap opens and is almost falling off on left side. Can this part be replaced or is something broken inside that will prevent it from being fixed?

How this vent grille located on top of the door of the microwave will get loose and fall on top of the stove?

Hi Nelly, thank you for your question. It is likely that the part has broken. You may need to have it replaced. This part screws on to your microwave via screws at the top. So if you are not able to screw the part back on then that could mean that you need to replace the part. Good luck with your repair.
