Part close enough, but not exact, and packaging was AWFUL!
The part arrived quickly, but the box was crushed, the part poorly packed, and a stray piece of plastic had me very concerned about the part. It looked ok, so I installed it. It was not exactly like the original, and I had some trouble getting it aligned properly. once I did, the screws attached differently and it was a bit tough getting them to attach firmly. It has been working fine since I installed it about a week ago, so I am satisfied with the purchase.

Broken grill frame
Had to have my neighbor work on getting the broken grill out and then put the new one one. It definitely took some time. Was not user friendly.

Vent grille frame broken in many pieces
Removed top two screws tilted part outward just slightly and slid to the left to release the bottom catches and removed the grill frame and door. Removed the two springs on the two outer hinges and removed the hinges from the old part and cleaned the area and installed the hinges and springs on the new part. Slid the new part lower tabs into place and reinstalled the top two screws.

Vent grill broke by the vent door hinges due to stickie springs with some old hard grease
With a Philip screw driver, remove two screws on top of micro ,now remove the hinges screws and springs, then open the micro door and slide it to the left , once is loose just pull it out and just reverse the procedure with the new piece. Wash the spring with any degreaser to prevent from happening again. Done,

Broken Vent Grille Frame
WOW!!! Replacing the vent grille frame was so easy I removed three screws from the broken grille and replaced the new grille in less than 5 minutes. So easy a person with two left thumbs when it comes to repairing anything around the house can replace this part!!!

The Grille Sub Assembly
The repair was quite simple. I removed the old grille assembly from three opening slots on the microwave and gently inserted the new unit into the (3) slots on the microwave. I used (2) screws to tighten down the unit securely. Done!!! It is working perfectly.

Grill Assembly flew out
My GE JVM1870SF02's vent assembly was on its last leg and it finally popped off and fell. I was glad that I was able to buy the specific part and having the Blown-out diagram helped to narrow which part I really needed to purchase.

Removed the Grill Assembly front-flap panel off broken grill. Installed the front-flap panel on new grill assembly and installed in the top section of the microwave. Good to go!

Grille broke in several places
Removed two screws then took off decorative panel. Put hinges on and attached springs, mounting decorative panel onto the grille. placed back in unit and replaced two screws, viola!
