Oven Handle End Cap - Left or Right Side Specifications
This oven handle end cap connects to your oven door handle, and acts as the joint that connects it to the oven door. This part is made of black plastic and can be used as the left or right-side end cap. If your oven door handle is loose or disconnected, this part may fix the problem. The end cap will need to be screwed into the oven door itself, but simply snaps in to the door handle. This part is sold individually.

Does this end cap fit this model?
For model number RB755GN5WH
Hi Beverly, Thank you for the question. The end cap for your model number were only sold as part of the handle. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There is no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!

Handle on oven broke at the right side end cap.
It didn't get repaired. Put the existing screws into the cap and the screws chewed up the slot it was to go into. Destroyed the end caps L and R. Only fix appears to be an new stove.

Replaced broken oven door handle
Got all my parts and tools ready. Sat on a stool in front of oven. Swapped out old with new. Not bad at all.
A end bracket for the oven door handle was loose. The internal socket (anchor) holding the screww that joints the bracket to the oven door snapped.screw
Remove the front panel, at which time the spring loaded door slammed closed while the paned and handle were in my hand. Fortunately I had a star bit to fit the screw holding the door and panel together. The parts should come with 2 screws since the part has holes for 2. note: the factory installed handle only had 1 screw in each side.

trim parts damaged
Bought a used stove for my sister at an auction that had a damaged face/control panel (trim bracket assy)and oven door handle was damaged. I ordered replacement parts that arrived quicker than I expected..took my time taking the stove apart so as not lose or damage any other parts and made the repair. The stove looks and works like new.
Plastic end brackets for the oven door handle were both broken
We had to buy star shaped screw driver bits to get the screws out. After that it was easy, unscrewed 2 screws, removed the old end pieces, and replaced with new end pieces and new screws. We used the original spacers and nuts. Repair was quick and easy. We found these same parts on the Sears website for $33 each. Here they were only $14 each.
I did not know what kind of tool was needed to remove the screws so I asked at the hardware store. When i said the screw was star shaped, he sold me torque wrench with multiple heads. First I removed the screw holding the broken handle in place. I cleaned surfaces. Next I attempted to put the handle in place on the horizontal bar and then put the screw into the opening. That did not work. I jiggled the handle for a while but could not get the pegs into the holes. Finally, I just held the handle in place and began to turn the screw and the handle slid into place as the screw got tighter.

Fastening screws loosened and handle end caps fractured
I dis asymbled the door to access the broken end cap screw holders(plastic) Take great caution with the door glass. It is held in place by thin stamped steel slots and when taking the door face apart, the glass is free to fall out. I placed four strips of adhesive tape on the glass to hold it in place while I replaced the handle end caps. Use an electric screwdriver to place the retainer screws. It speeds up the work, and allows your other hand to stabilize the door. Caution to not over torque the steel screws. They screw into plastic and can strip easy. Another point: These replacement End Caps did not come with any supporting hardware - screws. I was lucky in that I retained the original screws and they were in good condition and could be recycled. Very impressed with the service, would recommend to all. Frighteningly fast delivery. I was shocked to see the box on my porch in just a few days.

Straight forward repair - delicate part
Poor OEM design of oven handle and end caps. When installing new end cap, the metal screw securing the handle to the door self taps into a plastic tube which is poorly cast/supported on the handle body. Tube snapped off before door components were together - no sensible feel of "tightness" before it snapped. Fortunately these are reversible and come with a second plastic tube. It also explains why when I took it apart both tubes were broken on one end of oven handle and one tube was broken on the other end. Cheap design - this could be avoided with 10 cents more plastic.

Part cheap, company bad
Part broke when I installed it, original screws to big for part, which cracked when screwing it on.
Company is bad, they blame delays on manufacturers and can’t get out of the way of their processes to handle common sense customer issues

Quick and easy replacement
There wasn’t much to it the replacement part was exactly the same as the old one. Unscrewing the bolts and and rescrewing them back in. Awesome easy as it can be. Thank you!
