disappointed in JennAir cooktop
I was not expecting the disappointing result I received.....Prior to my first experience with my new cooktop, I cleaned my pan thoroughly on the outside. Wanting to keep my cooktop looking great, I wiped it off with water and dried it prior to placing the pan on the left, large cooking ring.
After the food was cooked, I removed the pan, and I noticed a smudgy-looking mark inside the ring. After numerous attempts to remove the smudge, it is still there, and it is still as obvious as it was that first day. I had hopes that my new JennAir would stay nice and clean-looking, but it certainly hasn't. I dread what it will look like in a few weeks. Since it is located in a very open space, it is highly visible to all who enter our home. NOT good!

I need a new glass top but cannot find a series number on the serial plate, which one do I order?

Hi Ron, Thank you for the question. The Part Number: PS2084686 is the correct part for the model number provided. The series listed are all the same part now so as long as the Part Number: PS2084686 is ordered it will be correct. Hope this helps!

I would like to order a cook-top (ps2084686) but am unsure as to what that includes. Is it just a thin glass top? Can i screw it onto the existing down draft motor? Thanks
