Ice Maker WR30X10093

I installed the part as instructed. It worked for about week and produced ice cubes that were heavily joined with each other. Then the cube removal fingers became covered with ice and stopped in the vertical position. I reviewed all the "You Tube" info on Icemakers and came up short. I did find a reference to a screw that adjusted water delivery to the ice maker by controlling the time that the delivery solenoid valve was open. This was not on a GE icemaker but it made me curious. I opened the "control" box on my GE unit and found a screw that I presumed to did that. I then looked further and found a molded in indicator with + and minus markings. These markings were around a hole in the that exposed the screw I mentioned earlier. The hole was blocked on the inside with a plastic plug to prevent access to the adjusting screw. I adjusted the screw until I felt light resistance. I reinstalled the icemaker and now it works fine. Now I can adjust the water flow from the outside if I need to. Then I plugged the hole on the outside with the same plastic plug from above.

Ice maker is do0ing a fine job .,but I did have to cut the back top of the ice collection storage box down about an Inch so the ice maker could work on it own.

My husband and I were very pleased with the purchase of an icemaker from Part select.

The part was in great condition and is working great.

With just a minor tweak to the connection harness, it fit my fridge beautifully and produces plenty of ice!
