I changed the pump again this year, replace a year ago. Water is still not draining or pumping out of dishwasher. What do i need to do now?
    For model number FDB1050REC2
Hi Ben, Sorry to hear you are having problems with your Dishwasher again so soon. Some other suggestions in our list of symptoms for the appliance not draining is the drain hose. Sometimes socks or lint and build up can block the hose so it is not draining properly. Please see our part number PS9494138 for for repair video and Installation Instructions.Good luck with this repair!

My drain pump runs but makes a clicking sound. How many rpm should the pump run to drain the dishwasher?
    For model number Fdb501lcs0
Hi Jay, Thank you for your question. If there is a clicking noise coming from the drain pump when it is draining, then there may be some debris or other particles stuck in the pump and you will need to clean it. If after you cleaned it the noise still remains, you may have to replace the pump. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Dishwasher drains but bottom sprayer does not spray when washing. Upper sprayer works fine during washing. What can cause that to occur? Thanks!
    For model number FDB641RAB1
Hello Thomas, thank you for your question. We would recommend removing the bottom spray arm and cleaning out the filter that is underneath, you may also want to check the holes in the spray arm to be sure they aren't clogged. If they are clogged the spray arm will not turn from the force of the water coming from the circulation pump. I hope this helps!

        Burning smell, noise when draining
        - Shut off the electricity and water to the unit
        - Pull the unit out, tip it on its side. Pump is easily accessable on the bottom.
        - Undo the inlet & outlet hose clamps, two screws, and two wire connectors. (Pay attention to which way they went on.)
        - Put the new pump in the same way and reconnect everything.
        - Tip the unit back up and push it into the counter, making sure not to kink the hoses or anything.
        - That's it. New pump is quiet, and no more smell!

        old drain pump went out
First I pulled out the dishwasher for easier access. Then I looked at the old pump to make sure I connected the wiring in the correct places on the new pump, took out the old, cleaned up the water that spilled out of the line from the old pump, connected the pump to the in and out drain lines, reattached the wiring, screwed it back in place, and was very happy this cost me about a 1/10th of what it would have if I replaced my dishwasher at everyone's recommendation. I works great.

        Water Not Draining
Unhooked the dishwasher and took it out. Laid the dishwasher on it's back. Located the drain pump and took it off. Put the new one in it's place. Hooked the dishwasher back up and tried it out. Everything sounded and ran good. Easy assembly. Took 30-40 minutes if that.

        Dishwasher was not draining
I started by removing all of the water on the inside and the outer casing around the dishwasher, tipped the unit on its side, and removed the old drain pump with the new one. It was a very nice, simple fix and did not take long at all. Your web site came up very quickly through google. I entered in my model number and found the part that i needed right away. It was also no time at all for the shipment to arrive at our hospital; well before the estimated delivery date. Thank you for the availabillity, speediness, and the econo-friendly exspence for the part itself. We will be more than happy to do business with you whenever the time comes again.
