Does this part help keep the coils defrosted so there isn’t ice
For model number GTS18HGNDRWW
Hi Kathy,
Thank you for your question. The main control board does control the functions of the refrigerator, but if the frost is not coming off the coils, you may need to replace the defrost heater and harness, part number PS12744078. We hope this helps!
Hi Shayne, thank you for the question. Yes, it is the main control board with integrated LED lights. We hope this information helps!

Hello. Rear lower mechanical all seems to be operating okay . Compressor runs, coils were just cleaned and the condenser fan is operating.
My fridge and freezer are about 8-18 degrees warmer than their settings. I want to change the fans but what controls the fans? Can you tell me if this control board controls the freezer/fridge evaporator fans and any other suggestions you have to try and replace. Maybe Temperature sensors also? Thanks.
For model number CYE22TSHJSS
Hello Dan, Thank you for writing. If the fans are running they shouldn't need to be replaced as well as the control board that controls the fans. We suggest testing the Temperature Sensor. The Sensor sends the temperature reading of the compartment to the control board. If you notice your refrigerator is too warm, too cold, or not defrosting properly, then there may be a problem with your sensor. We hope this helps!
