Rusty racks
It was amazing, the items were shipped within days of placing the order. They arrived ready for installation. My husband had the new racks in place in 10 minutes. He removed the wheels from the old racks and placed the wheel on the new racks which required no tools. Then we slid the new racks into place, a perfect fit!

Dishwasher racks were chipped and starting to corrode.
First I just rolled out the lower rack assembly, and rolled the new one in. Then I moved onto the upper rack. I started by sliding the off the rail cap lock at the end of the rack. The entire cap does not come off, just the bottom slotted piece. This is done by simply edging out the bottom of the cap, toward the front of the dishwasher, until the bottom slides out of the slot, and lifts out of the way. Then the upper rack was released to roll freely out of the support rail. The next step was to pry off the top of the water diverter. Next was to unscrew the wand assembly from the water diverter that is attached to the upper rack assembly. There are no water lines attached to this, it just directs the jetted water from the top of the dishwasher. Then simply pop the mount from the upper rack. And reassemble the way it came off. This was a simple fix to make the dishwasher like new inside again. The racks purchased from Parts Select fit perfectly with no modifications or trouble. This operation took less than ten minutes. Anyone should be able to handle this operation. If you are afraid to disassemble the upper rack, take a few digital pictures to refer to, and delete them later. This is a tip that has been priceless to me in the past on other projects. Thank you Parts Select.

Needed a replacement basket and lower rack assembly because the other ones had become rusty and cracked. Called and spoke with a sales associate to make sure I was getting correct parts. Received both of them quickly with a fair price and would use them again in the future.
Just swapped out the old with the new and it has been great. My wife is very happy and that make me very happy.

The Upper & Lower dishwashing racks were rusting
I ordered the replacement racks to replace the rusted ones that had been in my original Fridigaire. I had to take the wheels off the old Upper Rack and attach them to the new upper rack, which was quite easy since they just simply came off by hand with a little bit of pressure. I also needed to take off the spray arm & spray arm funnel in order to attach them to the new Upper Rack assembly. I had to unscrew the spray arm funnel then unattach (without tools) the base of the spray arm from the upper rack. Then I could simply reattach the spray arm base by hand and re-screw on the spray arm funnel onto the base that had been attached to the new upper rack. I also had to take off the Shelf from the old rack and attach it to the new one (which was easily done with a little bit of hand pressure to unattach the Shelf from the old rack). All of this was much easier than I expected it to be, and much easier than I'm explaining I'm sure! I was able to do these rack switches without any tools which was great!

dishwasher racks had become old and plastic coating came off.
All I had to do was take out old racks and replace with new ones. However the top rack did require taking off the part where the water runs through, it was easy though.
I would like to comment on how quickly and efficiently the parts arrived. I placed my order on a monday morning and am pleased to report by tuesday afternoon they arrived, much to my delight.

Parts required replacement.
I closed on a house a few weeks back. You really don't notice issues with appliances until your living there....the walk through doesn't give you the time to really see anything hidden. Anyway - the dishwasher had appeared to be used to wash grease covered parts from a car so I pulled all the racks and filters out and placed the order for replacement parts. I saved hundreds in obtaining replacement parts verse buying a new machine - and I didn't have to sit around waiting for a repairman to do the work for me. I've made several purchases from PartSelect, and will probably making more in the near futre - Thanks!

Upper rack had rusted and needed to be replaced
I pulled out the upper rack and using pliers, unlatched the snap brackets on each side. I removed the upper rack, and while I held the glides still, my husband slid the new rack onto the glides. I then replaced the snap brackets and we were back in business.

Water pump went up, soap dispenser wouldn't close and a little rust on the lower rack.
Easy repair. pulled dishwasher out, disconnected electrical wire for safety but don't think it was required since the breaker was off (turn it on and flip the breaker for verification). Pulling the pump and replacing was easy, soap dispenser, same, easy. First time I ever worked on a dishwasher, simple. Parts were all OEM parts and most importantly were the correct parts I needed. Way cheaper than replacing the unit and I saved $150 on an hours worth of work vice paying the service guy.

Not as sturdy as original part & it arrived with damaged wheel.
This rack is not as heavy nor as sturdy as the original rack which had rusted & cankered. It also arrived in a damaged box with a damaged wheel, but PartSelect Customer Service has still not replied to any of my emails reporting the damage.
I requested a replacement wheel but, PartSelect has ignored my requests for service, even though their website says they will reply within 2 days. (It has been 18 days and still no reply from them).

Easy replacement
My bottom dishwasher rack rusts through about every 10 years or so - we've had the dishwasher for 22 years. It was time to replace it and I ordered the part number from PartSelect. It was easy and convenient and is perfect. Thank you!
