Water leaks out of the dispenser will a new dispenser fix this

Fabric softner will not dispense into washer. When empty it fills with water. I cleaned the dispenser drawer as instructed. Still does not work. If I purchase a new dispenser drawer will that help??? Thank you

As questioned we have a little water leakage coming from bottom side of the soap dispenser assembly leaking down the side by door hinge? Appreciate the assistance.
