If your washer shakes or vibrates loudly when it reaches its max speed, check that the leveling legs are even. To ensure that the washer is firmly on the ground using all four legs, adjust the legs so that the machine is level, and tighten the locking nuts on the legs that are threaded. Keep the washer as close to the floor as possible. Your model might have rear legs that level themselves, or it might have threaded legs all around. Make sure the rubber feet have not worn out. Replace any missing or damaged legs and feet. This replacement part is sold individually.

If you are using a pedestal under this dryer, do you need the leveling feet?
For model number WED7500GW0
Hi James, thank you for your question. Generally yes. Most of the time what you are supposed to do is screw in the feet as far as they can go so that they are flush with the washing machine. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Dryer over heats on all settings. Even when “ no heat” is selected
For model number 110.66972500
Hi Kathleen,
Thank you for your question. If the dryer gets too hot on all settings, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the thermal fuse, the internal bias thermostat, the thermal cut-off, the high limit thermostat, the heating element and the heating element connection wire. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

One leg of the dryer appears to be installed using counter clockwise leg. The frame does not look bent at all. Three people looked at it and it looks formed that way - with the thread backwards to the other three. Is one of the legs actually different? Can i order a reverse threaded foot?
For model number YWED4915EW1
Hello, Thank you for contacting us. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is PartSelect Number PS11770254 and all appear to be the same thread. They are also sold as a set of 4. Hope this helps!

No leveling feet on dryer.
This could not have been easier. The hardest part was tipping the dryer over on its' side. Instructions: 1. Tip dryer over onto a non-scratch surface. I used a tarp on the floor. Insert leveling foot into the foot opening on the bottom of the dryer & screw in with fingers until it is difficult to turn. 2. Use the adjustable wrench on the hexed foot (not the threads) to adjust to the desired level. 3. Tip dryer upright taking care not to exert pressure on the feet closest to floor. I used a folded-up tarp under the bottom edge of the dryer while lifting it to the upright position. 4. Use a level, back to front & side to side, to determine if feet need further adjustment. 5. Adjustments can be made with the dryer in the upright position, using the adjustable wrench on the hexed foot.

Dryer stopping during dry cycle.
First I pulled the dryer away from the wall and unplugged it. Next I removed the dryer vent hose and threw it away and replaced it with a more rigid metal vent hose. Next, I used a socket wrench to removed the screws holding on the back cover of the dryer. Once the back cover was off it was just a matter of using the socket wrench to removed the bolt holding the sensor in place. After the part was removed I made sure the replacement was orientated in the same way as the original part and then I unplugged the wires from the bad sensor and placed them in the same order on the new part and then I bolted the new sensor back in place. Since the new part has been installed the dryer is working flawlessly and is not turning off mid-cycle like it was. ***Oh, and an important reminder. When you have the back cover pulled off the dryer use a shop vacuum to suck out any dirt and lint in the back of the dryer and make sure you unbolt the metal chute that the dryer lint screen goes into and clean inside the area near the exhaust blower. This is a VERY IMPORTANT part of servicing your dryer and should be done every few months to help avoid the risk of a fire.****
And prior to installing all the parts, Thermal Fuse, Cycling Thermostat, High Limit Thermostat, leveling feet, and I even replace the heating element prior to these parts.
After replacing the heat element as a guess, (which did not fix it), I measured voltage with a DVOM, found lower cut off switch in op, And thanx to some tips on parts select I ordered the the Thermal cut off kit, fast shipping, installed very easily and all is working properly
machine would not agitate properly and NOISY Dryer
took off fabric softener dispenser. used socket to remove agitator. Cleaned and then replaced the little plastic dog ears...works like brand new! It took 15 minutes or less.
Also repaired noisy dryer. replaced drum rollers, pulley and belt. The job took about an hour and was real simple. However..the dryer was still noisy. Fixed with a prybar to force drum to be tighter. It now sounds like brand new.
First removed 8 screws in the back of the dryer to take off the lead 1/4head then removed two blue wires then one screw and you have the thermal fuse . Note: be sure that it is disconected. Before service

leveling Foot
We truly love these feet they fit our washing machine like a glove. They were so easy to install and when we slid the washer back in place, the feet allowed it to slide so easy. It didn't damage the vinyl like the metal ones did. We recommend these feet.
