Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This actuator pad set is designed to replace the external push buttons on your refrigerator’s ice and water dispenser. When pressed with a glass or container, these pads activate the dispensing mechanism, allowing for smooth and consistent operation. Over time, the original pads may become cracked, worn, or unresponsive due to frequent use. Installing a new set restores both functionality and appearance, ensuring your dispenser works reliably and looks refreshed.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Water dispenser doesn't work, ice dispenser works fine
I found an EXCELLENT video (see link below) that shows with great detail how to change out several parts in the water/ice dispenser area on the freezer door for KitchenAid or Whirlpool brand, side by side units. This made my repair so easy!

For dispenser front parts, #13 (water dispenser pad), all parts shown on website are for "black" or "white". Are monochromatic stainless steel available?
For model number KSCS25FVMS03
Hi Greg, Thank you for the question. The buttons are only sold in White and Black. In most cases customers use the black buttons. Hope this helps!

The front water dispenser has to be pushed very hard and in one certain spot to dispense water. The unit is 9 years old and just started this. Is there a way to fix this and restore its easy to use, sensitive state? Thank you!
For model number KSS042QTX03
Hi Lauren,
Thank you for your question. If you have to press hard on the water dispenser pad to have water dispensed, you will need to replace the pads as they may be worn out. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Joseph, Thank you for the question. This could indicate the Electronic Control Board PartSelect Number PS11740442 is defective and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!
