The self-cleaning function is not working, how do I fix this?
For model number FEF352AWE

Hello Sandy,
Thanks for your question. The oven door latch motor and switch is the most common reason for this to happen. If this does not work, the control board is a possible fix as well, but that is much more rare.
I hope this helps.

I accidentally touched the clean button, since then the oven door remains locked with a constant beeping and it flashes f90 on the display. I have changed the eoc which was suggested by an online technician but the problem is still there. Whenever I connect the power it just unlock and lock itself again, with doc flashing. There is creaking noise in the door latch motor while it is locking.

Hi Hubert, Thank you for the question. F90 means the door lock has exceeded its time and if it will not unlock and stay unlocked the Oven Door Latch Motor and Switch will need to be replaced. Good luck with the repair!

My door lock will not unlock. The motor turns but will not stop on unlock. I followed the instructions for codes F90 and F11 with no luck. Can you help?
For model number LFEF3017LWD

Hello Thomas,
Thanks for your question. The most common reason for this issue is due to a faulty door latch. If you have a multimeter, you may wish to test the part for electrical continuity and replace it if it shows no continuity. This may also be an issue with the electronic oven control or its overlay.
I hope this helps.

Oven wouldn't operated. Error code F9
I called a repair place. They charged $54 to diagnose, (said it needed a new latch motor) then wanted $220 to complete the repair. I checked online prices and did it myself for about 15 minutes work and the latch motor itself ($44?).
Was necessary to uplug the range, pull it away from the wall and remove the back panel sheet metal, then 3 screws that mount the motor. Replace motor, reattach sheet metal. Plug in. Done. Ready to bake cookies.
