Our washer agitates but won't go into the final spin. Will replacing the control board fix this issue?
For model number GLTF2940FEO
Hi Dusty,
Thank you for your question. If the washer is not spinning, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the door lock and latch and switch assembly, the shock absorbers, the drain pump, the belt, the motor control board and the electronic control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Will not spin on any wash settings.
For model number GLTF2940ES3
Hi Guy. If your washer fills with water but doesn't agitate, the problem is likely to be a faulty lid switch, a broken belt, or a problem with the motor. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
Hi, long story short, I changed my door lock assembly because my washer wouldn’t spin, both the new and old assembly’s are making a buzzing sound. The door locks and the pause an timer flashing. What’s causing this problem?
For model number ATF6000FS1
Hi Larry, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the door lock assembly might be loose which could cause it to make a buzzing sound. We would recommend you check the parts connected to the lock assembly. The most related part of this issue is the door strike, part number PS890617. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of assistance!
Washer will put water in but drum will not move. I put washer on spin but the drum will not move. I checked the belt it’s ok. Any help would be appreciated!
For model number LTF6700FS0
Hello Mel, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the drive pulley for malfunctioning. If the pulley is working properly, then you may need to check the drive motor, part number PS2373340, to solve the problem. We hope this helps.
The drum does not turn while the water fills the tub when starting a cycle and it just sits there, it does not continue. After cancelling the cycle a number of times, the drum eventually starts to rotate while filling the tub and the cycle completes without issues. This appears to happen in cooler weather. The code it throws after running diagnostics is E5F. Manual says check connection between control board and speed control board. Seeing this might be an issue in the winter months only, seems like a cold connection and have checked the motor control board connections, they all seem ok. Do you suspect a failing motor control board. -Thanks.
For model number LAFW3511KW0
Hello Stu, thank you for getting in touch. According to the description of the issue, you will need to replace the motor control board, part number PS1524621, to fix the issue. We hope this helps.
