Slider rails broke from weight/age and broke cover glass
We bought the refrigerator second hand, so one of the drawer slides was already partly damaged. Eventually both rails broke on the same side of the fridge taking the cover glass with them. All I had to do was remove the broken rails by unscrewing them from the interior walls of the fridge, kept the screws and used them with the new rails
... Read morebecause they were in good shape. Drawers slid right in. The new glass fit perfectly where the other had been. The most time I spent was taking the food out of the fridge and putting it back in. I did it by myself while my husband watched the baby.
The refrigerator was not cooling. The freezer was not defrosting.
After diagnosing the problem with the aid of PartSelect.com, I was able to identify the parts that I needed to replace. Repeating the same procedure for the repair, I unplugged the refrigerator. ... Read moreezer and located the thermostat with the aid of PartSelect.com and the exploded view of the freezer. I defrosted the freezer with a hair dryer and sucked up water using a wet-dry vacuum. I located the thermostat and removed the entire assembly to simplify the repair outside of the freezer enclosure. I removed the thermostat by cutting the two wires that hold it to the wiring harness. I then soldered the wires back in place and covered my work in heat shrink tubing.
I just slid the pan cover directly in there slots. I would definitely reecommend this company to others. The shipping was done quickly. The parts were exactelty what I needed. The site made it easy to find the exact parts I needed. Thanks part Select.

I am looking for just the glass shelf part not the drawer (vegetables & fruit) to which the glass covers. I believe from your websites diagram the part is labeled # 409. Is this correct part i need/want? Thank you
