Is there another reason why the agitator will not function other then the agitating coupling
    For model number WDSR2120J8WW
Hi Riley, Thank you for your question. If the washer is not agitating, there are some other parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the belt, the agitator, the inner tub base hub, the tub dampening straps, the transmission and brake assembly and the lid switch. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

    For model number wwse5240go
Hello Tony, Thank you for contacting us. I suggest checking the following two parts: PS11736866 Agitator and PS1155105 Dual Water Inlet Valve. Sometimes these part can build up sediments that leave particles on clothing. Good luck with your repair!

Hello, My machine not wash and spin. I already change the timer. What could it be?Thanks
    For model number WVSR1060G8WW
Hello Mayra, Thank you for the question. If the appliance is not agitating for the wash cycle and not spinning, I suggest checking the V-Style Drive Belt, PartSelect Number PS270803. Hope this helps!

      Agitator will not spin
Agitator would not spin and it was going to cost me I've a hundred soars for someone to come and fix it. I looked on this sight and found out what I thought was the problem and ordered four parts to fix it. I was amazed because they came in two days later. I started withe coupling which was the cheapest part and instaled it and it fixed it to return the other parts I called the 800 number and they emailed me a return authorization and I sent it back so it cost me 15 dollars and five minutes to fix it.

      Fin Broke off the Agitator
My wife washed a washable mop head and somehow it managed to break one of the fins off the agitator. I ordered a new agitator, fabric softener dispenser, agitator coupling, and bolt. I figured since I had to replace the agitator I would replace everything. This was super simple and easy. I watched a few videos on getting the agitator off, some people said you may need to run some rope under it to get it off. Luckily mine popped right off. I grabbed both sides and gave it a good solid jerk straight up and it came right off. I used a 3/8 drive socket wrench and a 7/16 socket to remove the bolt from the agitator coupling. I installed the new coupling with a new bolt, lined up the agitator and snapped it right on. Popped in the new fabric softener dispenser and that was it. I may have spent a total of 10 minutes counting unpacking the new parts and carting the old ones out to the trash can replacing this. If you can operate a socket wrench or a new smart phone this is really a piece of cake.

      Noisy while spinning
I dissasembled the machine and it took about 30 minutes. Orderd the parts recommended for noisy spinning. Reinstalled the new parts / changed all drum straps. Cleaned the drain drum and spin drum and after complete reassembly the washer is still noisy in agitation and spin cycle. The motor, transmission, counter weight, and drum look ok but there is still a reason why the machine is still noisy. Spent 120.00 dollars on parts so far but the drum and motor, transmission and counterweight are very expensive to replace. I am just going to keep using the machine until the washer fails to work anymore. I'm not going to put any more money in the washer. I will just buy a new one. It's not hard to dissasembled and reassemble the washer. I purchased the parts that was recommended to fix the washer but they were not the ones. The new parts did help like the tub seal but the bottom line is that the washer is still noisy. I watched your videos to work on the washer and there were no special instructions on disassembly and reassembly. Like always there must be more than i know to repair this washer. Thanks

The agitator would not spin and it was due to a coupling that was worn down to the nubs
Pulled the agitator off by hand. Loosened the screw on top of the coupling and pulled old coupling off by hand. Replaced part with new coupling and socketed it in place. Replaced agitator by-hand by simply pushing it down on top of coupling making sure the plastic teeth aligned.

      Washer wouldn’t agitate.
Watched a how to video. Pulled the agitator. Determined that the agitator coupling was worn out. Matched the old agitator coupling to new replacement one. Ordered it. Pushed the new agitator coupling onto the fitting. Secured it with the old bolt. Replaced the agitator. Repaired.

      Agitator Coupling Replacement..
Pry the cap off of the top of the agitator, then one 7/16 bolt to remove the agitator (takes around 15" of extensions to reach the bolt and there is a small o-ring under the bolt that you don't want to miss).
The hard part is getting the old coupler out of the agitator. Four lock tabs need to be held back while the coupler is pulled out. I warmed it all up with a heat gun, pried the tabs back with screw drivers, and pulled the coupler out with a pair of Channel Locks. Kinda like pulling a very big tooth. After that, all was easy. Line the new coupler up with the locator splines in the agitator, knock it in with a rubber mallet. Slide the agitator back on the shaft, run the bolt back in and tighten (don't forget the o-ring), pop the cap back on. Done.

      Agitator did not agitate
Removed agitator with rope idea. One quick jerk and it came off. Removed coupling. Replaced with new coupling. Reinstalled agitator. Works fine. Note: I could not see anything wrong with the old coupling. It looked brand new with no noticeable wear!! Thanks for your help in recommending the part that most likely would fix the problem.Tom

      Agitator free spins
This was one easy job and saved me money by doing it myself, First I unplugged the washer for safety, then I removed the Agitator by grabbing the base of the agitator with both hands and pulling up I set the agitator a side and removed the one bolt holding the agitator coupling in place. the replacement coupling was a little tight when I replaced it due to it being new, (make sure the coupling is fully seated before installing the bolt) reinstalled the agitator plugged the washer back in and tested repair worked flawlessly thanks partselect
