Water Valve with 2 Inlets and 3 Outlets Specifications
This is the replacement water valve for your washer. It has 2 inlets and 3 outlets. The water valve connects to the water source and solenoid wires, and ensures the tub has the right amount of water entering it. If your washer continues to fill after it is full, or if it fills slowly, you may need to replace this valve. Before you begin this repair, be sure to disconnect the water and power sources from your dishwasher. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Easy to replace once the washer is open.
I recommend moving the wiring over one wire at a time. There are two of each color. Also watch the mounting - some valves slide sideways to lock in but this one is all screws. Part totally fixed our problem of constantly running water.

The washer stop and blinks in the RINSE MODE
I called a repair person to check my 15 months old GE front loader washer that stopped in rinse mode. After his inspection he said it was a deffected computer board and it would be very expensive to replace the 3 computers boards inside and it would be cheaper to buy a new top loader washer. The next day I lifted the top cover and foun
... Read mored a taped plastic envelope with instructions titled βFor service Technicians Only." On page 2, instruction on to how to enter the washer in to service mode and to test the washer: Press : Signal, Delay, Signal, Delay (within 30 seconds of plug in washer) Then rotate main knob to #102 and press Start:(the washer did a test for finding the problem) , and for me was : E22 , it means : replace solenoid valve assembly. So I order the part from Partselect.com for $58.00 and my Washer runs beautiful, thanks to the instructions inside.

How do I reconnect the wires? There are six connections - two on the hot and four on the cold. There are blue and brown wires on the cold, blue and yellow wires with black plugs and orange and blue with white plugs on the hot. Valve part number wh13x10029
For model number WBVH5300K0WW
Hello Shawn,
Thanks for your question. The yellow wire goes to one side of the cold water inlet, and orange to the other side of the cold water inlet. The brown wire goes to one side of the hot water inlet valve, and the blue wire goes to all three valves.
I hope this helps.

Cold water trickles into drum. Maybe the inlet hose screen washer is clogged , can’t get to it. Does this screen come out? Does a new water inlet valve come with the screen?
For model number GFWN1100L0WW
Hi Gary, Thank you for the question. The valve will need to be replaced. The screen will come with the valve as well and can not be removed. Hope this helps!

When time for rinse no cold water checked hose and filter looks clean. Could it be the cold water value?
For model number GFWN1100L1WW
Hello Randy, Thank you for your inquiry. The issue may be with the cold water side of your water inlet valve. You can test the valve with a multimeter to see if it has continuity on both sides. I have also included a link for troubleshooting this issue. The information listed is for if you have no hot or cold water but it would also apply for the issue of no cold water as well. Hope this helps!

The washer will start fine i hear it filled with water and have 36 minutes at the start of the cycle for instants. It’ll get to 24 minutes and completely stop. So i’ll hit the start button again, and it’s almost as if it starts at the beginning of the 36 minute cycle and somewhere along the line it’ll stop again. Lately it seems no water is entering the drum once it gets to a certain cycle and it appears to not be rinsing and tumbling. Is that a water valve issue?
For model number GFWH1200D0WW
Hello David, thank you for inquiring. This is most likely due to a faulty Water Valve, part number PS1482392 for your model. You may also want to consider the Door Lock Latch part number PS1021459. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair!

Never went to spin ,stopped with 1 minute left . Door latch seems fine , pump seems to be fine ,is this the timer ?
For model number GFWN1000L1WW
Hi George,
Thank you for contacting us. It would be either your timer or your motor that you would want to check at this point. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Will not go into rinse cycle , but timer advances ? Is this a valve ?
For model number GFWN1000L1WW
Hi George,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest taking a look at your door lock switch. It could be that it is failing and thinks that the door is open and do it will not add water or let your machine go into the spin cycle. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
