The triple water valve or inlet valve in your washer connects to the water source and solenoid wires, and ensures the tub has the right amount of water entering it. If your washing machine continues to fill after it is full, or if it fills slowly, you may need to replace this valve. Before you begin this repair, be sure to disconnect the water and power sources from your washer. This part is sold individually.

The part fit exactly as described in the part select video. I was able to install in 10 min and it fixed one of my problems. I also seem to have an issue with the pressure switch which i'm ordering today.

Arrived broken
Evidently damaged in shipping. Customer service was great! They refunded my money and sent a return address label to ship the part back. I would not hesitate to do business with these folks again. Have ordered many parts over the years, always a good experience.

WATER ON THE FLOOR, APPARENT LEAK.
Without any research, I imagined it might be the old hoses, so I bought new ones. When attaching them, I saw the threads were stripped at the washer end of the hot water hose. I bought the valve, and unscrewed the nuts holding the console in place. The clamp on the exit hose from the valve was a bit tricky, it was hard to hold it squeezed

Washer kept filling with water after it started agitating
There is a metal plate on back of the top of the washer held on by 3 screws. Removed them and that gave you access to the water valve. Water valve was fastened with 2 screws. Removed them and the hose that was connected with a clamp. Reversed the order on the installation and done. Whole job took 20 min. Now I know where to get parts. Thi

Friend,I have water dripping into the washer when the washer is not in use. Can you tell me what part might I most likely need?
For model number WCSR2090G3WW
Hi Russell, Thank you for the question. The most likley issues is the water valve. It can becomes "stuck" open and allow water to drip back into the tub. The valve is not repairable and will need to be replaced. hope this helps!

Cold water is real slow coming into washer, will this part fix my problem
Hi Wendy,
Thank you for the question. The first thing I recommend is turning off the water and removing the hoses, check the valve to make sure there is no build up in the screen. Sometimes the screen can have build up over time and slow the flow of the water. If it is all clear then I suggest replacing the water inlet valve.
Hope this helps!

The water temperature entering the tub ranges from cold to lukewarm when it is on the hot was setting. When comparing the water temperature out of the kitchen faucet to the water running into the tub, the tub water is much cooler. Does the triple water valve have any thing to do with this? I.E. The solenoid, if there is one, is not opening correctly and therefore cold water or lukewarm water is entering the tub? Could the cold valve and hot valve be open at the same time?
For model number VLSR1090G8WW
Hello John, thank you for inquiring. Yes, it could possibly be due to the Triple Water Valve, this part number PS1482390 for your model. It would more likely be caused by a faulty Temperature Switch though, part number PS3499718. Good luck with your repair!

The washer control fills every level except large
For model number gtwn4250d1ws
Hello Paul, thank you for your question. We would recommend replacing the pressure switch and hose, part number PartSelect Number: PS2354068 and PartSelect Number: PS272183. If this doesn't fix the problem the issue could be with the electronic board. I hope this helps!

All I need is the screens. Where can I get those? I do not need the complete valve assembly.
For model number WH13X10026
Hello Dag,
Thanks for your question!
No, unfortunately, the manufacturer does not offer the screens separately for this part. You could try checking your local hardware store or contact GE at 800-626-2005 for a recommendation.
Best of luck, have a great day!
