Hub washer replacement

I noticed a loud noise during the spin cycle, I purchased a bearing, but after taking the washer apart, I realized that the hub was worn out, I replaced the bearing and other parts to put it back in running condition, it was a worthwhile job, and cost saving. I have to thank partselect for the helpful videos.

Inner Tub Base Hub replacement

The tub base hub developed a large crack and spin started to make a large vibration. Agitator coupling was frozen, so I broke it by dremel, wedge (a minus driver) and a hammer. Leaking shaft seal

This sounds like an easy fix to replace the shaft seal after watching the video, Oh how WRONG was I.....Firstly the video and parts list show just pull the agitator off..... Noisy while spinning

I dissasembled the machine and it took about 30 minutes. Orderd the parts recommended for noisy spinning. Reinstalled the new parts / changed all drum straps. Fin Broke off the Agitator

The worst part was removing the agitator. I finally found a thread that explained you have to pull directly up to release the 'clips' that held the agitator to the coupler. Agitator came off of spline and broke

The bolt that held the agitator assembly on had sheared off. Had to drill out the old bolt out of the spline. After that, it was very easy. Just bolt the agitator assembly onto the spline and it worked like a charm
