Converting a Natural Gas stove to propane
First just unscrew each natural gas jet and install the propane jets. if they are hard to come off just turn your wrench back and forth first until the jet turns with your fingers. Then open the oven and take out the racks. In the bottom back of the inside of the oven there is a screw on each side. Unscrew both screws lift the bototom plate of the oven and slide it back about 1/2 inch then lift out of the oven. Move the 1 screw covering the heat shield from the oven jet. Then light the top burners and turn them off just to get the gas flowing. Also light the pilot in the oven, then light the oven. To convert the oven from natural gas to propane all you have to do is adjust the jet while the oven is lit. turn the oven jet ubtil there is a blue flame with little or no yellow tips on the flames.

two of the burners were not working at all, the other two were blackening pots and pans
I turned off the gas flow to the appliance, removed the old oriface spuds with the adjustable wrench, inserted the new oriface spuds and tightened them with the adjustable wrench. The double burner assembly just dropped on. They fit perfectly. I did not have to use the leveling nuts that were included with the burners. The old levelers were still in place and set perfectly for the new burners. Very easy repair, and the range works like a new one.

I just bought a used hot point gas cook stove. There is a receipt from a repair shop converting from gas to propane and 4 orifices in the bag with your part number wb28k8. My concern is about the oven orifice shouldn't that orifice been changed also? I see you only list 4 orifices. Bob

Hi Robert, Thank you for your inquiry. For many gas stoves, you will need to access the regulator to switch from natural gas to propane or vice versa. Please consult your manual for information on how to do this. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I see there are 4 orifices to replace in a conversion from natural gas to propane for the cooktop. Are there any conversion parts needed for the oven?

Is there a propane oriface for the oven also? I see the one for the burners. Also do you need a propane for each burner?

Will all (4) four have to be replace? Are they all the same? And have to flip over the main one right. Burners are 8000 and the oven is 16000 -- thank you!
