Drum bearing had gone bad causing excessive noise
Followed the repair video provided in the order confirmation email. Was easy.
1 of 4 Drum Rollers Froze Preventing drum rotation.
Replaced idle pulley wheel, worn drum belt and all 4 rollers (1 frozen) due to dryer age. Site video re general disassembly/re-assembly easily adapted to this model and very helpful with exception of replacement of drum rollers. New rollers received (AGM75510755) were pre-mounted on included shafts. This required removal of existing roll
... Read moreer shafts to replace with new shaft/roller units. Site video shows placing a new roller on existing shafts after removing a plastic retaining clip. New roller/shaft assembly is a better option and fortunately I did not order extra retainer clips! Rear drum roller shafts have small carved out space to fit a box end wrench to remove shaft nut. Watch out for sharp edges on internal steel parts!
Completly disassembled dryer removed 2 rear rollers installed 2 new rollers. Reassemble dryer in including new drum belt. Dryer is nice and quiet again running fantastic, thank you for your support

Dryer making a thumping and squealing noise when running
Had to replace front drum support rollers. Removed screws underneath top in back that held bracket that keeps top in place. Slid top towards rear and lifted up. Removed 4 screws that hold plastic front panel in place (inside..2 on each corner) Unplugged front panel electric plugs to remove panel. Opened door..removed 2 screws at bottom of

Lifted up on drum to get roller out. Reversed to install. Left roller a bit harder to get to stud. Removed and installed same as right side. Did not attempt to replace rear rollers. Have them if needed but very much more involved to replace.

noise when you ran dryer
Opened front of dryer - removed drum - replace all 4 rollers (2 had bad shafts) - replace drum with new belt - reassembled
One of the roller assembly froze up & had a flat spot on it. There for causing the drum not to rotate. Pulled it out replaced the roller & up & running.

Dome light comes on when door opened, dryer doesn"t start
For model number DLE2301W
Hello Sarah, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our research, you need to check the door, and confirm that the door is fully closed. The dryer will not start with the door open. Remove anything that is obstructing the door. The door switch, part number PS3529308, activates when the dryer door is closed. On most dryers, the door switch makes an audible clicking sound when it activates. To determine if the door switch is working, try starting your dryer and then listen for the “click.” If the door switch makes a clicking sound, it is probably not defective. If you don’t hear a click, use a multimeter to check the door switch for continuity. If the switch does not have continuity, replace it. On most dryers, when the dryer belt breaks, the motor will still run, but the drum will not turn. Check the dryer belt, if the belt is broken, you may need to replace it with part number PS11705916. If the problem persists, we would recommend replacing the motor, part number PS3523290, to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
