Took some muscle to get the old harness out, but managed
There were two very difficult parts of replacing the harness. One was the fact that the screws that had to be removed needed probably a strong man's energy instead of an old lady's, but persistence paid off. I would have liked to have new screws as part of the harness package. But, I managed to put the old screws back in the new harness attachments. One of the replacement parts to a unit didn't want to screw in tight, and it took a couple of times repositioning it to get it to screw tight. The very hardest part was the inability to easily get to the grounding wire and remove the screw in the back of the stove with the top up so that you could work under the burners. I had to find a specific length of screwdriver (short) that was strong enough to remove the screw. Eventually I gave up on that when I saw there was another hole that I could use to connect the new grounding wire in. So I cut off the old grounding wire to disconnect it and managed to find a screw to put the new grounding wire in with. That again would really have saved me time, if there had been 5 screws included....four for the units and one for the grounding wire. After very hard work because of the difficulty removing the old screws and trying to get the old grounding wire screw out, I could easily disconnect the old harness from behind the stove and replace it completely. Has worked fine and corrected the problem with the stove. There was a YouTube video that really helped with the directions and letting you know to work with one unit at a time so that you replaced the same colors so that it would go to the same control in the back with the knob that turns on the units. Though the YouTube video showed the whole thing as simple and fast because they were demonstrating on a brand new stove so the screws weren't a problem to remove. So it takes longer on an older stove with very stuck screws, muscle, persistence, and the right screw drivers.

Why does my stove top element over heat and won't cool down unless it's turned off.
For model number WFC150M0EB 0_R72361307
Hi Kayla, thank you for reaching out. We hope this helps! If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Thanks again for your great question.
Why does my stove top element is not heating up all the way as the other element tops. The larger one is not red hot or even burning hot. It turns on, but not hot enough.
