The dishwasher has confirmed ac power but none of the display lights are lit. Ideas?
For model number GDT655SSJ2SS
Hello Gary and thank you for writing.
You should try a hard reset first. Go to your breaker box, turn the breaker for your unit off, wait 5 minutes and turn the breaker back on. If this fails you might indeed have a faulty control board and need to replace it. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

I purchased the control board from you. Wandering if you had a best procedure to install?
For model number DDT595SSJ2SS
Hi Chuck,
Thank you for your question. Before you begin any repair please turn the power to the dishwasher off at the circuit breaker. Use a quarter inch socket or nut driver to remove the screws securing the access panel. Remove the panel along with any insulation. Next remove the 2 inner screws securing the control board support panel. Disconnect the door wire connector from the panel. Use a 5/16th inch socket or nut driver to remove the screw securing the junction box cover and remove it. After you have done this, you can drop the support panel down. Note the orientation of the control board wires and then remove them from the board. Using the quarter inch socket or nut driver, remove the grounding screw. Then use pliers to squeeze the mounting pins to remove the old board securing the panel. You can now install the new control board. Align the board on the support panel and snap it into the mounting pins and then secure it with the grounding screw. Reattach the wires to the new board. With the wires aligned in the slot, reposition the support panel and secure them with the screws. Reconnect the door wire connector. Realign the junction box cover and secure it with the screw. Reinsert the insulation. Reposition the lower access panel and secure it with the screws. You can now restore power to the dishwasher, and it should now work for you. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Three year old unit will not power up (no lights with door open or closed) unless electrical power was recycled - with a 5 to 10 minute delay ... then it would work fine for a week. now it will not power up after a recycle or any length. my non-contact tester shows i have power coming into the unit - it also lights in proximity to the switch and the ui board. i'm thinking the switch is ok ... and suspect the main or ui board ... appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Hello and thank you for writing.
We suggest to try a hard reset first:
Go to your breaker box and shut the breakers for your unit off, wait 5 minutes and then turn the breaker to on again. That should hopefully clear this problem.
If this does not fix this problem then your door latch PS6447681 and striker PS8690622 might be faulty( this happens in 74 % off these symptoms), you should check the part(s) for signs of damage or test with a multimeter, and replace the part(s) as needed. If they check out ok then you would have to consider changing the Control board. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
No lights with door open or closed. Does not respond to buttons. Verified ac power is ok to junction box in toe kick area. Is there a way to check if it the service control board or the user interface board?
For model number DDT595SSJ0SS
Hello Thomas,
Thank you for your question. Our sources suggest replacing the electronic control board under part PS12730509 for your model. Hope this helps!

Hi. I need to replace the control board and before I do anything, do I need for pull the dishwasher out or can I get the control box off without pulling the whole thing out. I have the bottom kick plate off already.
For model number GE GDT695SMJ2ES
Hey Paul, thank you for your inquiry. We have researched your model and found that if you want to replace the control board of your dishwasher, you do not need to pull it out. You can access the control panel from the bottom of your dishwasher without pulling the whole dishwasher out. We hope this helps!

My dishwasher is dead. None of the lights or buttons work. The washing does have current but responds to nothing. Thanks
For model number gdt655ssjoss
Hi Mike, best guess would be a bad control board, you can test it with a mutimeter. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

Is part # PS12730509 the "User Interface Board"? I want to make sure when I order the part I am getting the correct item. The control board is a different part #?
For model number GDF570SSJ2SS
Hey David, Thank you for asking. The User Interface Board is Part #: PS16762498. The Control Board under the appliance would be PartSelect Number PS12730509. Good luck with the repair!
My question is my unit won't even light up and I have been shutting the power off to it and wiggling a few wires under the unit and door assembly and when I turn the breaker back on it will light up on the door and we would then be able to run a cycle?
For model number GDF570SGJ2WW
Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. This sounds like the Wire Harness is loose and not plugged in and connected securely. You may need to pull the unit out and tip it back to check the wiring. Follow it up to the Controls to check all connections. We hope this helps!

When we closed the door, it would only beep 3 times, over and over
I watched the video on how to replace the parts and it was very easy. Unplug the power cord, remove the kick plate and insulation. Remove the small square metal cover, remove the 2 screws that hold the control board plate. Unplug the wires, put the control board plate on the counter and replace the board. Then put everything back in the order that you removed it. Plug in the power cord. Very easy to fix. I ordered the door latch but didn't need it so I will just keep it as a spare. It took me less than 45 minutes to replace the part. The problem was the control board. Parts select saved me about 400.00. Thanks, John.
No power/response at the control panel. Replaced power board first, did not solve the issue. Replaced the control board and works perfectly now.
Followed directions available on YouTube and the written instructions that came with the part. I made the repair more complicated than necessary as I did not notice that the jumpers come attached only to ONE pin out of the box. I took two tries to get the jumper settings right.

Dishwasher would not power up
This dishwasher started to not want to start about 1 year ago but on several attempts to start the dishwasher it would power up or start. On Christmas Eve 2021 I did a load of dishes and from that point on the dishwasher would not power up. Got on line and did some troubleshooting and felt the Control Panel was the problem. Ordered the replacement part from this website, the part arrived around January 1, 2022. Installed the new Control Panel yesterday and my dishwasher is now working great again. Thank you for the ability or order and fix my dishwasher

It didn’t work I had to wash dish’s by hand
The repair went very well, I watched a video on how to fix it on utube for this model the board from partselect was a OEM and fit perfectly. If I ever have an appliance problem partselct will be the number 1 on my list to call. I have told most of my friends about them and how great they are to deal with. They rate eleven stars.

Turn the dishwasher on and push start, close door and it would beep 3 times and not start.
Well, I was about to go buy a new dishwasher but my wife convinced me to fix it. Ordered the part from PartSelect and I wasn’t sure of the part number but they knew exactly what I needed. The control board. Received the part quickly. Took about 30 minutes. The hardest part was finding the correct socket for the bolt in my tool chest. Super easy! Thank you!

Dishwasher would not start. No lights on select board
After reading the manual that came with my dishwasher, 5 years ago, it states if the green LED is on steady, change the machine control board. PartsSelect sent the bd within a week. I replace the board but the result was the same (steady green LED); Contacting PartsSelect, they gave me a return label and shipped another control board. Unfortunately the second control board had the same outcome. PartsSelect send another return label and I returned both machine control boards. I contacted GE and am having a service man (from GE) come and fix it. The manual for this dishwasher must be in error!! PartsSelect has been fantastic in understanding this and allowing me to return the bds.

Replacement part fixed the problem
Had a power issue with my 3 year old dishwasher. Found a helpful video and the exact part needed to repair the issue in about 30 minutes. Has worked great for the past 2 weeks. So much better than hiring someone or replacing with a new unit.

Dishwasher control board
After installation the part took about one hour to ‘wake up’. It worked fine for about two weeks then died! I don’t really blame the part because it was not an exact match but “close and will probably work”! This was the second one to fail, now replacing the dishwasher (5 years old). Buyer beware!

The part came quickly in perfect condition. Too bad it wasn't the problem like I thought. I now have another part to replace. Hopefully this will be the problem and it will be done !!! Hopefully
