Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
The freezer user interface is a crucial component that houses the selection buttons and electronic display, allowing you to control various settings such as temperature adjustments and operational modes. This genuine OEM replacement part is designed for select freezer models, ensuring compatibility and reliable performance. Over time, the interface may become unresponsive or malfunction due to regular use, making it necessary to replace it for continued functionality. A faulty control panel can lead to inaccurate temperature settings, difficulty adjusting modes, or even complete loss of control over freezer functions. To install, first unplug the appliance and safely store any perishable food. Carefully remove the existing interface and secure the new one in place, following manufacturer guidelines. Wearing protective gloves is recommended to prevent injury during installation.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Easy repair
Fast, accurate, good packaging, freezer defrosting properly again. We are not buying Whirlpool freezers anymore after having a $150.00 part fail after only 2.5years of use from new. The freezer it replaced was 20years old! Never a problem.

I have this Whirlpool freezer with control panel part number w10683039 and I'm wondering if there's any other part numbers that would match that I can make work on this freezer. Thank you
For model number WZF34X160W01
Hello David, Thank you for the question. very sorry, we only list the OEM parts made for the appliance. We strongly recommend you contact the manufacturer, as they would have this information in their system. Ask them for the part number you require and contact back to see if it is something we carry. We hope this helps!

Freezer freezing up and stops cooling. getting continuity on heating element and resistance on thermistor. Changed thermistor(at coils) with generic brand twice) no go. Will a control board cause freezing up? Thanks,
For model number WZF34X18DW00
Hello Hogan, thank you for getting in touch. Ensure the air vents in the freezer are not blocked by ice or food, as this restricts airflow. A damaged or leaky door gasket, part number PS11731330, allows humid air to enter the freezer, leading to excessive frost. Check the evaporator fan motor, part number PS11753712. Make sure the fan blades are moving freely and there is no ice buildup around it. If the fan is not working properly, replace the evaporator fan motor. We hope this helps.
