The icemaker shutoff arm won't stay up and so the icemaker is making too much ice. I have removed the arm and re-inserted it but it still won't stay up. It doesn't look like it's damaged. Is there a sensor within the icemaker? If I order a new arm, how will that fix the problem?
For model number MfC2062FEZ01
Hello Sandra, thank you for contacting us. If the shutoff arm is not damaged, the issue is related to the ice maker control which is a part of the ice maker assembly, part number PS11765620. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
How or where does the ARM-SHUT W11385509 connect to
For model number kfcs22evms3
Hi Anthony, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the arm-shut is in the ice maker. You have to take the ice maker out. Start with the arm-shut. Remove it from the bake bracket, and push it through the hole. Be careful not to bend it. Rotate it out of the front engagement hole. To install the arm-shut you need to put the end tab, the elongated tube, into that oval slot in this position with the arm-shut facing downwards. Be sure it is firmly in place, line up the back tab, and press it. For further detail on the connection of the arm-shut. Please watch the attached video from 1:20 to 2:14. We hope this is what you were looking for!

How can I stop ice. Cube maker from being knocked out continuously
For model number KBFS22EWMS4
Hi Joseph, thank you for your inquiry. Ensure that your refrigerator is placed on a level surface. Use a spirit level to check if the refrigerator is balanced properly. If it's not level, adjust the feet or position it on a level surface to prevent unnecessary movement. You can stop your fridge ice maker from making a knocking noise by removing any ice that is jammed in its moving parts. Heat up the icemaker with a hair dryer in case there is ice blocking the icemaker from rotating properly. If that does not resolve the issue, then replace the ice maker, part number PS2121513. We hope this information is useful!
Hi the arm shut oof the ice maker keypad on popping off as the freezer door is opened. Should I replace the arm shut it the parts where it plugs in? In which parts in your diagram does the arm-shut plug in? I think the arm has gotten loose. For instance, in the video that you have for replacement of the arm, you use pliers to pull out the arm but in my freezer the arm pops out at the lightest touch. What should I replace in that case? Thanks in advance. This has been a huge pain because then the icemakers starts over producing

The shutoff arm to the ice maker will not go down to the on position. It can be moved to the off position, but will only move part way down toward the on position. Does the arm need to be replaced or does the ice maker assembly need to be replaced? Thank you.
For model number MBF1958FEZ01
Hello Larry, Thank you for your inquiry. The issue may be with the control on the ice maker or where the arm snaps into the ice maker, so we would recommend checking the ice maker itself. We have included a link to our video on testing the water inlet valve and ice maker. We hope this helps.
