Oven will not heat at all. Bake nor broil element will heat/work. I've set a temp and waited for over an hour and nothing. Not sure what it could be.
For model number FFEF3011LBD

Hello Janice, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Oven Temperature Sensor first. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the Sensor is good, you may have a defective Electronic Clock Timer, PartSelect Number PS1528267. We hope this helps.

Oven will not turn on. I can set the temperature, but nothing happens.
For model number 316232662

Hi Kevin,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not turning on, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the oven elements, the oven sensor, the electronic control board an the wiring between them. You will need to test the parts with a multimeter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may use as a general reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Tested the oven temperature sensor and it is at 1094. Would this indicate that it needs replaced if the oven & broiler doesn't heat up?
For model number FEF366CQE

thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. Your sensor is testing in working order. The temperature sensor should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. Good luck with your repair.

My oven will turn on and will heat to the set temperature. However, after about 2-3 min at that temperature it will click off and will not reheat. I think there is an issue with the heat sensor and it is shutting off because it thinks the temperature is rising too high. Anyone else have this issue? Is this a known problem with Frigidaire ovens? My model number is FFGF3015LBD and the oven is about 8 years old.
For model number FFGF3015LBD

Hi William,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multi-meter. When testing the sensor with a multi-meter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature and it should be unplugged from the oven. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

How to replace resistance temperature detector
For model number CFEF312GSA

Hello Sam, Thank you for the question. You will need to pull the appliance out and remove the back panel. This will expose the probe. You can unplug and remove the probe and replace with the new probe. Make sure to turn power off to the appliance. We hope this helps.

Range would not come on
Turned off power, took back off stove removed old probe.
I had to splice wires since new probe ends did not match up.
the instructions were to splice the wires. I had the breaker off for about 3 hours. this is not in the instructions, but being a widow, I had to ask a few people why it would not come on after I connected the wires.
After waiting, I turned the breaker on and my range came back on.

Oven wasn't heating properly for a few months and then stopped altogether
The hardest part was pulling the oven away from the wall. Two bolts hold the sensor in place and a clip connects the electronics. Replacing the old one was trivial.
