Right Door Magnet weak, door would not stay firmly closed
Replaced seal on door. Same problem. Went to Lowe's and got several magnetic cabinet door catches. Attached them to the top of the door. (they can be seen sticking up), with the magnet part screwed to the door and the metal plate attached to a small wooden block glued to the top of the body with contact cement. Cost abound $16.

Right door seal was torn at top of door
I followed the remove and replace instructions in the Part Sect video when I ordered the seal. Pulled out the old seal by hand and installed the new seal. No tools needed, very easy. Took 10 minutes at most.

Original gasket was ripped at the top on the right hand door.
Removed the old gasket by pulling it out of the groove and installed the new gasket using my fingers to push the gasket into place.

My original gaskets for the fridge and freezer doors seemed to have lost their magnetic hold
I opened the freezer door and peeled out the freezer gasket, inserted the new gasket, and closed the door. I repeated this same process for each of the French doors on the refrigerator. Door was not closing with any positive feel and would often pop open when left door was shut.
Popped out old gasket and popped in nwe one. This is where things get interersting, the new gasket Does work as well as the one I replaced. I think the maganet is not strong enough. If anyone has had the same problem please let me know. This model ( Maytag- French door ) has been a lemon.
