Exactly what was needed
After trying to purchase just the tubing from a local store, turns out the tubing is permanently attached to the filter housing so this IS the part needed.

ICE MAKER WATER FILTER HEAD REPLACEMENT
AS PER A VERY GOOD VIDEO I FOUND SIMPLY BY SEARCHING FOR THE PART NUMBER. IT MAY HAVE BEEN ON THIS SITE. SADLY, THE PUSHING ON THE CONNECTOR WITH THE 1/2" WRENCH LOOKED A LOT EASIER IN THE VIDEO, OTHERWISE EASY PEAZY AND I HAVE VERY PAINFUL ARTHRITIS IN MY SHOULDERS.

Water dispenser pressure is low. Checked that line was not pinched or frozen and changed the filter. I noticed that if i twisted the filter a little more to the right and held on to it, the pressure increased. As soon as i let go it dropped again. Could it be a loose connection with the head filter (part #18)
For model number KFCS22EVM2
Hello Chris, thank you for inquiring. That sounds like the case, and this Filter Head is the correct replacement for your model. You may also want to consider checking the Water Filter itself, part PS11722130 for your model, and Water Tube Connector part PS11740187. We hope this helps.

I am no longer using a filter in my refrigerator because I had a reverse osmosis line installed in the refrigerator. I am using the bypass cap. Something is leaking from the bypass cap. Do you think the bypass cap is not working or do I need to replace the head filter?
For model number KFCS22EVMS5
Hi Alexis, thank you for reaching out. We have concluded that the issue is with the water filter bypass, part number PS12731165, which is most likely damaged or out of alignment and may need to be replaced. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
