How to fix code LO FL????
For model number MHW5630HW0

Hello Ronald, Thank you for your inquiry. This error indicates that the water is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water into the washer or it's not filling fast enough. Check the water supply hoses first to make sure they are not clogged or kinked. If there are no restrictions to the water supply, then we recommend checking the water inlet valves, the water level pressure switch, and the electronic control board. You can check the single and double water inlet valves and the pressure switch with a multimeter and examine the control board for any visible damage. Good luck with your repair.

When washer filling. Makes screeching / winning noise. No error codes are shown. Only have noise shilling filling.

Hi Steve, thank you for reaching out. It may be caused by too much water pressure. If it is not causing the issue, we would recommend checking the water inlet valve, part number PS12711564, to fix the issue. We hope this information helps! Fabric Softener will not dispense, which valve do I need to resolve this issue?
For model number MHW5630HC0

Hello Tina, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend testing the water valve, part number PS12711564, and part number PS12711563, using a multimeter. Also, clean the detergent hose to ensure that it is not blocked. Given that the water valves are good, the issue is probably related to the dispenser drawer, part number PS16620104. It houses the compartments for the detergent, fabric softener, and bleach. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.

Just about every other wash on average I get a low flow error. I haven't tested anything yet, but if I restart the wash cycle it will usually run through the cycle which tells me likely a sticking solenoid. Any thoughts?
For model number MHW5630HC1

Hi Bob, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, a low flow error indicates a long fill time. We recommend checking the fill hoses for any blockage. We also recommend replacing the water inlet valve, part number PS12711564. We hope this solves your issue!

Good part
This was one of the valves I purchased for my 3 year old Maytag washer. I don’t think the original part should have gone bad this soon, but it did. It was pretty easy to replace once I destacked the dryer. After install, washer works like new again.
