Are the hot and cold water inlet valves the same part which are different colors and is it necessary to change the pressure sensor at the same time the water inlet valves are changed (hot and cold)? Please advise

Hello Deane, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, there are two separate water inlet valves. The cold water inlet valve is part# PS12711564 and the hot water inlet valve is PS12711563. It should not be necessary to change the pressure switch at the same time if it is working correct, but you can also test the switch with a multimeter as well. We hope this helps.

Looking for the hot water inlet valve for this model. Someone yanked on it while moving the machine and the plastic tabs that hold it in place cracked. the valve itself is working, not leaking. Had to MacGyver it with some string to hold it in place but eventually would like to replace it and install securely.
What part(s) do I need? and does the wiring harness simply slip into the new part?

Hello Lesley, thank you for your question. Yes, that is correct. The new Hot water valve does have the mounting plate, so you would just unplug the existing one and plug it in. Good luck with your repair.
