Plastic drawer support snapped off
The repair went very easy. The replacement part was designed differently than the original part. It installed on the rear of the drawer with a screw as the original snapped into the side. This was a bit confusing when researching and looking up the part online.

rear supports were broken
The draw pictorial was not very clear. I orderd the two rear supports for the over storage draw, not sure they were correct.
They were correct and the design had been upgraded to add strength to the support.
The draw is now operational..better then ever.

Storage Drawer rear support broken
Tried GE onoine parts department first and ordered the wrong part, then tried the customer hotline and they referred me to the right part but didn't explain that the design had been modified (the drawings had not been updated). I found an explanation on Part Select AND the parts were cheaper. Part Select sent the part, the necessary screw, and an appropriate instruction manual. Each support took less than a minute to screw in with a socket wrench.

One of the drawer supports broke off
I pulled out the drawer and inserted the new support. This one inserts into the back of the drawer as opposed to the sides. I had ordered two of the replacements even though I only needed one and decided to replace both. I think it was a good move as the drawer works better than when we first got it. Just one simple screw made it complete.

Oven drawer open and close incorrectly
First I removed the oven drawer. Verified that the support clips would rest correctly on rail, then review installation document with supports to locate alternate location for replacement supports. I did have to personally locate 2 fastners not provided with the supports ot complete installation. After installation, oven drawer opens and closes smoothly.

Oven will not heat
As many people have encountered, my oven would not heat but the igniter would be bright orange and glow! Over time, the igniter wears and degrades causing oxidation to the surface. This cause the igniter to fail and operate at a lower current level, below 2.8 amps! Normal igniters operator over 3.0 to 3.1 amps. When is happens, a low current igniter does not have enough input to the control valve to tell the valve to open to allow gas to flow over the igniter to light the oven, thus heat the oven! This has got to be the NUMBER one reason for an oven not heating!

Oven door broken= Drawer support missing
Replaced the drawer support that was missing. No problem. Snap into place and secure it with supplied screw.
Oven door handle broke while moving it. Had to hunt up a spline wrench to remove the screws holding the old handle supports in place. It was a simple job to screw the new nandle end pieces and handle bar into place.

As described
Very simple repair for the bottom range drawer if one of the rear supports/glides is broken. I bought 2 so I could replace both sides. This attaches differently to the drawer than the supports that came with the range. You will need a nut driver. I just assumed it was a Phillips or a slotted screw so those tools are what I grabbed from the garage. Save yourself a trip back to your tool box and take the hex head screw with you to match up with the proper size nut driver. Then you’re set.
