no lights on the front of the Frigidaire dishwasher
I ordered a PS12365196 BOARD from PartSelect that arrived in 2 days, a few lights came on but still did not work, next I called back to get the PS8689162 Control Assembly, (this took another 2-3 days) this has the buttons on the front that usually light up when you set up and run the dishwasher. Still no luck so i had to try and underst

Went back in, by now I can take this apart in about 5 minutes, replaced the original control board and it stared right up! Called PartSelect and a few minutes later confirmed the return of the 1st part which did not seem to work. Got to go as my email just arrived with return instructions...

First disconnect the power. Open the dishwasher door. Unscrew all of the screws except the top two screws. Unscrew the top two screws last and slide the door off. Unscrew the housing for the control board. Disconnect the wires from the control board(take a picture or mental note where the wires are positioned for reinstalling). Unscrew th

The DW had no lights and would not work.
While trouble shooting the issue, noticed that all switches worked and there was sufficient power going to control board but still nothing working. Ordered new control board and with only a Phillip's head screwdriver, I was able to remove cover and control board to replace. DW works like new after the repair.

Dishwaser just would not start. Indicator light were flashing.
Figuring the issue was the Control Board, I ordered one. ($90) When it came I installed it...SAME problem. So I took it out and reinstalled the old board and it WORKS. Apparently some connection was not right and just moving the conectors by taking them in and back out twice fixed the problem. And FYI, since it is an electric part it is N

The dishwasher cycles thru wash, rinse, wash, rinse, wash, rinse, endlessly. Is the control board bonkers?
For model number LFBD2409LM0B
Hello Jerry, Thank you for the question. This sounds like an issue with the Control Assembly, PartSelect Number PS8689162. You can try to unplug or turn the power off to the appliance for 5 mins and see if it will reset before replacing the control. Hope this helps!

Wash, Dry, Clean lights blinking and washer won't start. Tried to re-set turning off/on the breaker. Still not working. I am thinking it is a control board issue. To make sure I had removed keypad connection from control board, turn the power on and closed the door and found no drain (or anything) is happening. Will this confirm a control board issue?
For model number FFBD2408NS5B
Hello Shibin, Thank you for the question. Yes, this would normally indicate the Control Board is defective and will need to be replaced. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Tub still full of water at end of cycle seams to be skipping over drain cycle if you push cancel cycle the drain pump dose work and removes the water but when running through a normal cycle it doesn’t want to drain possibly the main control board?
For model number FFBD2408NS0A
Hello Brad, Thank you for the question. This sounds like the Timer is skipping the cycle. The Timer for this model is built into the Control Board, so the Board will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

My dishwasher starts then stops, If I push the start button it will start then stop again. As long as I keep doing that it will get thru the cycles. Could it be the board?
For model number FFBD2408NB8C
Hello Donna, Thank you for the question. This sounds like the Door Latch is not staying engaged and may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
Dishwasher is not dish washing. Turn on it appears to cycle ~ puts at least some water into the tub ~ sits quiet for several minutes and then begins to rinse ~ refills at least some water again ~ sits ~ drains and then apparently begins the dry cycle. Control panel show still in the wash cycle. Stays lit as wash cycle ~ does not shut off and when door is opened ~ dishes are extremely hot ~ but not clean.
