The 2-year old plastic control knobs on our GEJGP3036SLSS gas cooktop are breaking at the base. We have seen them in stainless steel but unsure of the fit. Is your replacement part plastic or metal, GE or aftermarket?

I have a GE cooktop JGP3030SLSS with a broken knob. This says it's for JGP3030SL1SS. Is this the same? Is it a different finish?
