Ice maker freezing over, causing ice to get stuck
Replaced parts, as ordered - very simple. Watched the video before hand. Found that existing assembly did not have the "Y" clip installed. Been making ice for three weeks with no freezing up (yet) - time will tell.

Looking for replacement parts for rf323tedbsr error code: 39e and 22e
For model number RF323TEDBSR
Hello Tony, thank you for your question. The 22e error code is in reference to the fan in the fridge section and the 39e code is in reference to the icemaker. I would suggest unplugging the unit for 2 minutes then plugging it back in to see if it will reset. If it does not, I would recommend replacing the fridge fan motor and the icemaker. I hope this helps!

Is the water inlet valve part of the ice maker assembly ?
For model number RF28HMEDBSR/AA
Hi Erick,
Thank you for your question. No, your water inlet valve would be a separate part. I have listed that part down below for you. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
Our icemaker freezes over every week or so and stops functioning. We defrost it and it is good for another week or so. What is causing the problem and what to we need to fix the problem?
For model number RF28HDEDBSR/AA
Hello Deborah, Thank you for the question. I woudl suggest testing the Defrost Heater, PartSelect Number PS9603659 and the Sensor, PartSelect Number PS4138596. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
Hello Lori, Thank you for the question. In order to trouble shoot we will need a bit more information. Is the ice maker getting water? If not, can you fill the ice maker with a glass of water and see if it makes cubes and runs normally? The more information the better. Look forward to hearing from you!

My ice maker has frost at its top and is not producing ice. I defrosted it, pushed its reset button and it started working for a few days but the condition returned. Is this symptomatic of a defective ice maker heater, the thermostat or fan?
For model number RF28HFEDBSR
Hi Ken,
Thank you for your question. If the ice maker is having issues issues making ice, you need to check it as well as the water filter, the water inlet valve and water fill tubes. To test the ice maker and the water inlet valves, you will need to test the parts with a multimeter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Icemaker freezes up monthly and we have to manually defrost, trying to figure what part to order for a fix.
For model number rf28hmelbsr/aa
Hello Dean, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Bi-Metal Defrost Thermostat, PartSelect Number PS4140510. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps!
The ice maker seems to be frosting/freezing up. Excessive ice is collecting on the ice maker and seems to be causing it to stop functioning. I can defrost the ice maker compartment and ice maker and it will return to functionality. Input on what is causing it to freeze up?

Would a new ice maker fix this problem? Freezes up then leaks under frig lower drawers.Requires ice removal/water cleanup monthly.
For model number RF263BEAESP
Hi Ken,
Thank you for your question. If your ice maker is freezing up, this may be caused by a by a frozen ice maker fill tube, a faulty water inlet valve, the freezer temperature setting is too low or a water filter that needs replacing. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
