Lower agitator, very loose and wobbly
Reached down into the washer bowl. Fingers on each side of the agitator base. Quick jolt up agitator popped out adjustable wrench took the bolt. Off of the agitator coupling removed coupling wire, brushed the gear slots installed a new coupling with both new bolt lined up, agitator slots pump, the new agitator on after lined up with a dow

Is there a fabric softener dispenser available for this model? The diagram shows one but the part number comes up as an agitator cap

How does the agitator cap remedy the fact that the washer will not agitate? Its just a cap.

Thank you for your question. If the cap is damaged or defective and it is not fitting correctly on the agitator, it may cause the agitator not to work correctly. There are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the door lock, the agitator, the drive belt, the motor, the transmission and the electronic control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
