The replacement lid for my LG Sidekick was actually updated from the original and is much improved. The original lid broke at the hinge which was molded into the entire lid assembly. This required replacing the entire lid. The replacement part now how hinges that are attached to the rest of the lid with screws. If a future repair is warranted, then I expect that we can just replace the broken hinge rather than the more costly lid assembly. It was not clear on the website when ordering this replacement lid, but it does include the plastic pins that lock the lid in place. PartSelect shipped the part on the day of the order and it was delivered the very next day.
