Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
I checked the new thermostats for continuity and there was none, so ordered one.
The new thermostats also did not have continuity between it's terminals.. so I ordered a second one.. it also did not pass for continuity.. before returning both I installed one and it worked.. so am not sure why continuity is the recommended test to find the original problem..

Thermostat bad....but couldn't fix it
My grandfather who is well versed as an electrician checked my microwave out because it wasn't worked. He used a multimeter to check electric current to parts in the microwave. He said a specific thermostat was not getting any current going through. I ordered that replacement part from this site and when it came in it didn't have curre
... Read morent running through it either. He said he thought the part that was given to me was faulty. I called this companies number to ask some questions but the machine said they aren't taking any inquiry calls because of the pandemic right now. So I currently don't know what the problem is with my microwave. I want to return the part but unfortunately during Christmas time the packaging got thrown away. So as of right now I'm out the part money and probably money to buy a new appliance.

Are all the microwave thermostats NO? Which door switches are NC and which are NO.

Hello Joseph, Thank you for the question. The switches will have printed on them NO and NC. If it has the NO that means normally open and should not read continuity until the button is pushed. If it has NC it would have continuity until the button is pushed. The Thermostat should ready NO. We hope this helps!
Blows fuse as soon as I try activating cooking cycle. Lights up and I can set time before I try cooking cycle.

Hello Mike, thank you for your inquiry. We have concluded that the issue is with the magnetron. As it is drawing more current than usual, causing the thermal fuse to blow in order to protect the microwave. We recommend you replace the magnetron, part number PS12705729.
