Can't control the chute, doesn't swerve to the right or the left. It looks like the handle rod has become disconnected from something. Because I can actually lift the handle and trigger assembly straight out of the control unit.

If you still cannot adjust the chute, you will need to check the cable, the springs, the gears, the pins and the brackets. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service.
