The door boot spring clamp or outer bellow clamp on your washer is designed to keep the door boot in place. It is circular in shape, and you will find it wrapped around the bellow. To remove the old clamp, simply open the washer door, and use a screwdriver to pop it out. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

I'm trying to re-install the clamp, bellow to front panel and I can't seem to stretch the spring far apart enough to put back on. It was very easy coming off. I was told I may need a tension spring expand tool. I don't see why it doesn't say anywhere in instructions that this tool is required to re-install. Is there any other way it making it easier?
For model number WFW9250WW00
Hi Steven, Thank you for the question. The tool is not required and you should be able to install the clamp. You may find this video helpful. Good luck with the repair!

Torn tub seal causing major water leak.
Removed top of washer. Removed top front panel. Removed old front panel clamp. Removed front door panel. Removed old tub clamp. Then removed torn tub seal. Installed new tub seal. Needed two sets of hands to install new tub seal. Pretty tight installing the new tub seal around drum lip. Might be a good idea to heat up or let your new tub seal soak in water prior to installation. Once tub seal was installed, I installed new tub clamp then re-installed the door switch. After that, I put the front door panel back on. Then tightened down the door switch. Finally, I installed the top front panel and then the top of the washer.
The hose from the detergent dispenser was dried out and cracked. Causing it to leak water during the different cycles.
I followed the video that accompanied the parts order confirmation. The replacement of the two parts, bellows and hose, were pretty straightforward. The job took a little less than an hour with little aggregation.
Followed the video except to use clamps to hold the Bellow To Front Panel Clamp in place while I worked the clamp around the from of the Bellow. I used a plastic pry tool in place of the suggested screw driver to pry the control panel off.
