Hello! Do we need to glue the new door seal for installation? We pulled the old one out and it looks like it was glued in. If so, what type of glue should we use? Thanks!

Does the adhesive come with the door seal?

Hello Russ, thank you for contacting us. The door seal you mentioned does not come with the adhesive. However, the rear drum felt seal, part number PS8691753, includes adhesive. You can also order the adhesive, part number PS11757492, separately. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.
Hello Thomas, Thank you for the question. To remove the old Seal you just peel it off the panel. Clean any left over glue residue and then glue the new Seal in place. We hope this helps!

Hi Martha, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, a dried or worn-out lint trap housing seal, part number PS11741506, might not catch the lint effectively. If this problem keeps repeating, we would suggest replacing the seal. We hope this sorts out your problem!
