Hello Mitch and thank you for writing.
It certainly sounds more like it could be a faulty door lock assembly PS12704713, you should check for signs of damage, and replace if necessary. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
The washer will not go further than wash. You can hand dial but I don't think they are getting the clothes clean. We bought it in 2020. Sometimes it will lock and then it won't.

Hi Debora, thank you for a very interesting question. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend replacing the control board, part number PS12348139, to fix the issue. It manages the washer's functions such as filling, washing, draining and spinning. We hope that helps!
Washer will not do second spin cycle. Empties water but will not go into spin.

So my washer water sensor switch and deep water switch doesn't seem to be working correctly. Sometimes the water only fills up a few inches in the tub then starts with the wash cycle.
For model number WTW4816FW2
Hello Melvin, thank you for reaching out. According to our understanding, we would recommend checking the water inlet valve for any fault. If the water inlet valve is fine, then the issue is most probably with the electronic control board, part number PS12348139. It manages the washer's functions such as filling, washing, draining and spinning. You may need to replace it to solve the problem. We hope this helps!
