Our washer gets stuck on the spin cycle. It either restarts the spin cycle on its own after the initial cycle or just continues until i need to manually stop it. Will this part solve it, or is there a different (i.E. Cheaper :) )option available?

Hi Jonathan, Thank you for your question. If the washer stops during the spin cycle, you should either unplug or shut the circuit break to the washer for 30 seconds. Next, turn the timer knob on the washer around and back to any position other than final spin. Be sure that the water is turned on, and restore power to the appliance. Accounding to your owner's manual under incomplete cycle or timer not advancing, you may have to do the following, "• Timer adds 3 minutes to cycle for each rebalance. 11 or 15 rebalances may be done. This is normal operation. Do nothing; the machine will finish the wash cycle. • See page 17 on how to clean the Pump Filter. • Straighten drain hose and make sure washer is not sitting on it. • Check household plumbing. You may need to call a plumber. • Ensure there is an air gap between hose and drain." If this doesn't resolve the issue you're having with the machine, you may need to call for service. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Gavin, Thank you for the question. We do not have a recorded of known issues here sorry, we suggest contacting GE directly for that question. You may need to check the wiring going to the Board, if it is not showing sighs of damage, the board will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
