This timer is a genuine OEM part supplied by the manufacturer for use in dryers. It is a high-quality replacement part that is designed to fit just like the original for your convenience. The timer controls the length of each cycle, such as drying, cooling, or tumbling by activating and deactivating various components of the dryer according to the cycle settings. If you are experiencing issues such as cycles not completing, difficulties starting the dryer, and damp clothing at the end of a cycle, then the timer is likely malfunctioning and will need to be replaced. The timer is located inside the control panel of the dryer.

Needed to replace timer and knob
Took a couple of pictures, removed old timer and installed new one then popped the knob on. Easy as that.
I unplugged the dryer from the wall. I took the back off which was simple then I took pictures of all wires connected to timer switch and then I disconnected the switch and looking at my pictures got the wires connected to the new timer. Put it all back together plugged it back in and was back in business. I'm a 37 year old female massage

Replaced timer
Very good. Really only one screw holding the timer in place. It was a little difficult finding the right tool to use to remove that screw. But, once found, it was a easy as pie!
pulled off the existing wires and made sure that they went back on the new one in the same place. then took off the existing screws. then took out old timer. replaced the wires on the right connections on the new timer then put the timer back in its position and tested it. the dryer turned on.

Timer slowly stopped work and dryer wasn’t cutting on
Removed the timer knob, removed the back panel, removed the timer and installed the timer and knob.
Dryer timer spun around therefore dryer would not start.
PULL PLUG ON DRYER. Took off upper back panel with adj. wrench. Took a picture with cellphone. Took off old timer secured with one screw. All wires still attached at this point.Pulled off about 5 or 6 connectors one by one. Took off first connection and replaced that first connection to new timer. Took off second connection and

Put metal timer back on with screw. I did learn whenever replacing a timer also replace the knob connected to the timer i.e. the circular part turned with your hand.
