The right door gasket was cracked in two or more places and probably leaked.
I watched the Part Select demonstration for removing and replacing the door gasket. It looked easy and was easier and faster than the demo. The toughest part was getting the wrinkles out of the new door seal.

Refrigerator door gasket split
The repair was pretty simple once we had the new one:
Unpacked new gasket and used a little heat in places to straighten it out.
Removed old gasket just started at one corner by pulling out of groove and went around the door till all of gasket had been removed from the groove around the door.

Original door gasket was cracked and torn
Replacement gasket extremely easy to install. Used hair dryer to soften and straighten out “kinks” in replacement gasket. Pulled old gasket out of groove in refrigerator door. Lined up corners of new gasket and pressed into place with my fingers. Went in exactly as video showed.

Refrigerator Door Gasket Torn
Following the excellent video on Parts Select, we soaked the new gasket in warm water in the bath tub to make it pliable, then simply pushed it into the grooves on the door.

replacement of gaskets on the 2 door
The video was a great help. I was able to replace gaskets on both doors with out taking them off and no tools were needed. One of the refrigerator doors has a plate that closes with the door that makes replacing the gasket questionable but I was able to do it with no problem.

Cracked door seal
Removed old seal and installed new one. Whole job took less than ten minutes. Repair video made it very easy to do! Be sure to allow proper relaxation of new seal before install.

Right door didn't close all the way
Took the new door seal out of the box, layed it out as straight as possible heated it with hair dryer 4 1hour took the old 1 out by hand and replaced it with new one no tools needed 10 min job

Both refrigerator door gaskets were brittle & breaking
I ordered a right & left gasket but when they arrived there was no indication of which was the right or left one...so I just had to guess...I easily lifted the old gasket away from the door & removed. Then starting at the top began inserting the portion that goes into the groove with the help of the table knife, continuing down both sides

Read more..then sat on a stool to push the bottom section into place...Had to go back over several areas to reseat but finally closed the door to hopefully set the gasket..Drank some hot tea, then removed the left gasket & began the process all over...The extra flaps ended up on the left side of the door so I may have to remove this side and reposition...I'll check it in a few..then will blow all with a warm setting of the low dryer to continue helping the molding process..

Door Gaskets had started to peel and break open. They needed to be replaced
Watched installation Video on the website parts. I put the new gaskets in bath tube in warm water for a few minuets until the gaskets were warm and pliable. I removed old gaskets cleaned door facing and installed new gaskets as instructed on video. Thanks for the information on how to install because I was dreading trying to do this task.
