blower motor died
Pulled the motor and blower wheel from below. Replaced both. I think it was easier to replace the two together than just the motor.I also had old light indicators so we replaced them since the stove was sort of apart. The repair was not difficult at all, and my 30+ stove top looks and runs great!

Identical replacement part
Perfect replacement for the noisy debris encrusted old blower fan. Easy to install, and the Jenn-Air is quiet again! ADVICE: Make sure to note the position of the old fan on the shaft before you take it off so that it doesn't rub on the housing. And while you have it off, reseat the bushings if they have become loose, again noting the position of the motor within the seating ring. I also removed the remnants of the foam gasket and replaced it with a strip of foam weather strip I had left over from sealing a drafty door.

I love my Jenn Air!
After 27 years of great service, the downdraft died.. I was happy to be able to buy the wheel and motor to keep this fabulous range running.
