Bake Element Specifications

The bake element provides heat to the oven. If you notice that your oven is not heating enough, or not heating evenly, you may need to replace the bake element. This bake element is 17 inches long. The terminals are 21 inches apart, and have a depth of just 2 inches. The bake element connects to the back of your oven, so you may need to remove the oven racks prior to completing this repair. Be sure to disconnect the power source to the oven before you begin this repair. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to complete this repair.

I need a broiler element but it seems none are available for my model number.Can i use the baking element as a broiler element? Thank you

Oven wouldn't heat
I disconnected the oven power, then removed the two screws that hold the element in place, then I pulled the old element out, and connected the new element to the two wires, and reinstalled the two screws. PartSelect provides easy part selection, very quick delivery, and is my first choice for hard to find parts. I have used them in the past and am always pleased with the service/price they provide.

Bake element broke in two THANKSGIVING Morining
My husband simply unscrewed the screws on each side and put on the new bake element. Just need to remember to UNPLUG the stove as he had a few sparks at first . . . other than that, it was simple. Thanks!!!

Oven element broken
Unscrewed element connection and replaced with new one! Better than buying a new stove??thank you! We did turned off the circuit breaker!!
